A system for determining properties of a tubing string in a subterranean formation includes a measurement device that obtains a plurality of measurements of the tubing string at a particular location. The plurality of measurements correspond to either a plurality of transmitter signal frequencies or a plurality of measurement time slots measured by at least one receiver, and a thickness and a diameter of the tubing string at the particular location is known. The system further includes a processor that determines a plurality of calibration coefficients based on the plurality of measurements, the known thickness, and the known diameter by: assigning calibration coefficients of an equal magnitude to measurements corresponding to at least two frequencies of the plurality of transmitter signal frequencies; or assigning calibration coefficients of an equal value to measurements corresponding to at least two slots of the plurality of measurement time slots.

Cette invention concerne un système de détermination des propriétés d'une colonne de production dans une formation souterraine, comprenant un dispositif de mesure qui obtient une pluralité de mesures de la colonne de production à un emplacement particulier. La pluralité de mesures correspond soit à une pluralité de fréquences de signal d'émetteur, soit à une pluralité d'intervalles de temps de mesure mesurés par au moins un récepteur, et une épaisseur et un diamètre de la colonne de production à l'emplacement particulier sont connus. Le système comprend en outre un processeur qui détermine une pluralité de coefficients d'étalonnage sur la base de la pluralité de mesures, de l'épaisseur connue et du diamètre connu par : l'attribution de coefficients d'étalonnage d'une amplitude égale à des mesures correspondant à au moins deux fréquences de la pluralité de fréquences de signal d'émetteur; ou l'attribution de coefficients d'étalonnage d'une valeur égale à des mesures correspondant à au moins deux intervalles de la pluralité d'intervalles de temps de mesure.
