Disclosed are an intra-prediction mode-based image processing method and a device therefor. Particularly, a method for processing an image on the basis of an intra-prediction mode may comprise the steps of: configuring a reference sample to be used for prediction of a current block on the basis of width information and height information of the current block when the current block is a non-square block; deriving an intra-prediction mode of the current block; and generating a prediction sample of the current block by using the reference sample on the basis of the intra-prediction mode of the current block.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d’image fondé sur un mode de prédiction intra et un dispositif associé. Plus particulièrement, un procédé de traitement d'une image en fonction d'un mode de prédiction intra peut comprendre : la configuration d'un échantillon de référence à utiliser pour la prédiction d'un bloc en cours en fonction d'informations de largeur et d'informations de hauteur du bloc en cours lorsque le bloc en cours est un bloc non carré ; la dérivation d'un mode de prédiction intra du bloc en cours ; et la génération d'un échantillon de prédiction du bloc en cours à l'aide de l'échantillon de référence en fonction du mode de prédiction intra du bloc en cours.

본 발명에서는 인트라 예측 모드 기반 영상 처리 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 구체적으로, 인트라 예측(intra prediction) 모드 기반으로 영상을 처리하는 방법에 있어서, 현재 블록이 비정방형 블록(non-square block)인 경우, 상기 현재 블록의 너비(width) 및 높이(height) 정보에 기초하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측에 사용할 참조 샘플(reference sample)을 구성하는 단계; 상기 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 모드를 도출하는 단계: 및 상기 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 모드를 기반으로 상기 참조 샘플을 이용하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 샘플을 생성하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
