Abstract:
This mode of embodiment of the present invention relates to a radiation image capturing system which is provided with a structure for enabling a reduction in linear noise that is manifested in an image after integration, and which includes a solid-state image capturing device. The solid-state image capturing device includes: L imaging pixel regions arranged in a direction intersecting a direction of movement of a relative position of the solid-state image capturing device; and L A/D converting units provided corresponding to the L imaging pixel regions. Each imaging pixel region includes pixels disposed two-dimensionally to form a matrix having M rows and N columns. One or more of the L A/D conversion units executes a dummy A/D conversion one or more times after A/D conversion of an electrical signal from an m-th row pixel and before A/D conversion of an electrical signal from an (m+1)-th row pixel.
