Abstract:
(EN) The present invention addresses the problem of providing an optical film having high orientability and satisfactory manifestation of phase difference in an oblique direction, and a polarizing plate and an image display device using the same. This optical film has a substrate and a phase difference layer provided on and adjacent to the substrate, the phase difference layer being a layer obtained by fixing the vertical orientation of a liquid crystalline compound included in a liquid crystal composition containing a polymer compound and a liquid crystalline compound having a polymerizable group, the difference in the δa value between the polymer compound and the substrate calculated using a three-dimensional SP value being 3 or less, and the content of the polymer compound being less than 10 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the liquid crystalline compound.
(FR) La présente invention aborde le problème de la fourniture d'un film optique ayant une orientation élevée et une manifestation satisfaisante de différence de phase dans une direction oblique, et une plaque de polarisation et un dispositif d'affichage d'image l'utilisant. Ce film optique a un substrat et une couche de différence de phase disposée sur le substrat et adjacente au substrat, la couche de déphasage étant une couche obtenue par la fixation de l'orientation verticale d'un composé cristallin liquide compris dans une composition de cristaux liquides contenant un composé polymère et un composé cristallin liquide ayant un groupe polymérisable, la différence de la valeur de δa entre le composé polymère et le substrat calculé à l'aide d'une valeur SP tridimensionnelle étant inférieure ou égale à 3, et la teneur du composé polymère étant inférieure à 10 parties en masse par rapport à 100 parties en masse du composé cristallin liquide.
(JA) 本発明は、配向性が高く、斜め方向の位相差の発現も良好な光学フィルム、ならびに、それを用いた偏光板および画像表示装置を提供すること課題とする。本発明の光学フィルムは、基材と、基材上に隣接して設けられる位相差層とを有する光学フィルムであって、位相差層が、重合性基を有する液晶性化合物と高分子化合物とを含有する液晶組成物に含まれる液晶性化合物の垂直配向を固定してなる層であり、3次元SP値を用いて算出される、高分子化合物と基材とのδa値の差が3以下であり、高分子化合物の含有量が、液晶性化合物100質量部に対して10質量部未満である、光学フィルムである。
