Abstract:
Provided is a composite pressure vessel liner that is suitably used for a composite pressure vessel for storing high-pressure hydrogen, has a structure that is less prone to material degradation in a hydrogen environment, and has a tensile strength of not less than 850 MPa. The composite pressure vessel liner has a predetermined component composition and comprises a steel material with a metal structure in which the area fraction of martensite at a location one-fourth of the thickness in the inner side is not less than 30%, the total area fraction of martensite and bainite at a location one-fourth of the thickness in the inner side is not less than 95%, and the total area fraction of martensite and bainite at a thickness center portion is not less than 95%. The composite pressure vessel liner has a thickness at a longitudinal center portion of not less than 20 mm and a tensile strength at the thickness center portion of not less than 850 MPa.
