Abstract:
Provided are a method for synchronising the movement of a virtual object, a client, a server and a storage medium. The method comprises: a client detecting a first accumulated system time since the last speed update regarding a virtual object, and a second accumulated system time since the last position update regarding the virtual object; when the first accumulated system time reaches a pre-set speed update time, updating the speed of the virtual speed; and when the second accumulated system time reaches a pre-set position update time, updating the position of the virtual speed, wherein the pre-set speed update time is greater than the pre-set position update time, and the first accumulated system time is recalculated after each time the client performs a speed update for the virtual object, and the second accumulated system time is recalculated after each time the client performs a position update for the virtual object. The embodiments of the present application may have a movement synchronisation effect of a higher precision, and can reduce the performance overhead of a server.
