Abstract:
(EN) Aspects may relate to a device to authenticate a user that comprises a processor and a sensor. The processor coupled to the sensor may be configured to: receive at least one fingerprint scan from the sensor inputted by the user during an enrollment process to define a fingerprint password, the at least one fingerprint scan including one or more partial fingerprint scans from a same finger or different fingers of the user; and authenticates the user based upon the defined fingerprint password inputted through the sensor by the user.
(FR) La présente invention peut concerner, dans ses aspects, un dispositif afin d'authentifier un utilisateur qui comprend un processeur et un détecteur. Le processeur couplé au détecteur peut consister : à recevoir au moins un balayage d'empreinte digitale émanant du détecteur introduit par l'utilisateur pendant un processus d'adhésion afin de définir un mot de passe d'empreinte digitale, ledit balayage d'empreinte digitale comprenant au moins un balayage d'empreinte digitale partiel émanant d'un même doigt ou de différents doigts de l'utilisateur; et à authentifier l'utilisateur sur la base du mot de passe d'empreinte digitale défini introduit par l'intermédiaire du détecteur par l'utilisateur.
