(EN)The present invention relates to a method and a device for distributing partitions of a sequence of partitions on the cores of a multicore processor. The method enables the identification of parameters characterising the hardware architecture of a multicore processor, and parameters characterising an initial ordering of the partitions of a sequence; then profiling and classifying each partition of the sequence, in order to assign the execution of each partition to a core of the multicore processor while maintaining the initial sequential ordering of the partitions.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour distribuer les partitions d'une séquence de partitions sur les cœurs d'un processeur multi-cœurs. Le procédé permet d'identifier des paramètres caractérisant l'architecture matérielle d'un processeur multi-cœurs, et des paramètres caractérisant un ordonnancement initial des partitions d'une séquence; puis de profiler et classifier chaque partition de la séquence afin d'assigner l'exécution de chaque partition à un cœur du processeur multi-cœurs tout en maintenant l'ordonnancement séquentiel initial des partitions.
