Title: DIRECT CURRENT DRIVE METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ALTERNATING CURRENT MOTOR, AND SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR USING THE SYSTEM
Abstract:
A direct current drive method and system for an alternating current motor, and synchronous motor using the system. An ECU (5) is employed to control a direct current or alternating current power supply to sequentially supply power to sets of stator windings (2), such that a rotating magnetic field is generated around a rotor (3), and the generated magnetic field changes, by means of simulation rotation having a varying intensity and a forward or reverse direction, a torque and rotating speed and eliminates the need of a voltage regulation and frequency varying system. When a direct current power supply is used, the present invention does not require a power converter, thus improving efficiency and response speed, and eliminating the need of a large number of control apparatuses. The synchronous motor of the present invention solves, by means of configuring the rotor (3) and the number of magnetic pole pairs of the stators (1) of the synchronous motor, the problem in which a startup squirrel-cage is required to be mounted on a rotor of a synchronous motor.
