Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure provides methods and compositions for improving the oxygen delignification process. The methods may include adding low doses of a borohydride stabilized in an alkaline solution to brownstock pulp. The methods may result in significant chemical savings, increased pulp brightness, increased pulp yield, and reduced kappa number.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des procédés et des compositions permettant d'améliorer le processus de délignification à l'oxygène. Les procédés peuvent comprendre l'addition de faibles doses d'un borohydrure stabilisé dans une solution alcaline à une pâte brune. Les procédés peuvent conduire à des économies chimiques significatives, à une blancheur de pâte accrue, à un rendement de pâte accru et à un indice Kappa réduit.
