(EN)A fastening mechanism (12) for coupling track rail (10) to a substrate (100) includes a fastener body (14) formed by a metallic base (52) and an overmolded non-metallic coating (54). Metallic pillars (30) are coupled with the fastener body (14), and define bores (32) for receiving anchors (34) held fast within a substrate (100). The coating (54) encases the metallic base (52) and extends peripherally around the metallic pillars (30) to position vibration-attenuating non-metallic material (63) between the metallic base (52) and the metallic pillars (30).
