Abstract:
(EN) According to various embodiments, there is provided a passenger load prediction system including: a component configured to detect a wireless device carried by a passenger on a train or a train station platform, the train including a plurality of train cars; a passenger to train car mapper configured to determine a location of the passenger, based on a location of the wireless device; a destination predictor configured to predict a destination of the passenger, based at least in part on an identifier code of the wireless device; and a train car load level estimator configured to predict a respective passenger load of each train car of the plurality of train cars, based on the predicted destination and further based on the determined location of the passenger.
(FR) Selon divers modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne un système de prédiction d'une charge de passagers. Ledit système comprend : un composant conçu pour détecter un dispositif sans fil porté par un passager dans un train ou sur un quai de gare, le train comptant une pluralité de voitures ; un dispositif de mise en correspondance passager/voiture conçu pour déterminer un emplacement du passager sur la base d'un emplacement du dispositif sans fil ; un prédicteur de destination conçu pour prédire une destination du passager au moins en partie sur la base d'un code d'identifiant du dispositif sans fil ; et un estimateur du niveau de charge d'une voiture conçu pour prédire une charge respective des passagers de chaque voiture de la pluralité de voitures sur la base de la destination prédite et de l'emplacement déterminé du passager.
