(EN)The invention relates to electrical engineering, and specifically to a carbon-based cathode material for energy storage units, for instance hybrid supercapacitors, and to a method for producing said material by treating restored graphene oxide, having a bulk weight of 0.002-2.0 g/cm3, with an ozone-air or ozone-oxygen mixture at a temperature of up to +80ºC, in a fluidised bed environment created by a flow of ozone-air or ozone-oxygen mixture in the presence of an acid catalyst, for instance nitric acid.
