Abstract:
This optical line terminal of an optical network, which performs transmission/reception with one or a plurality of optical network units in a PON type optical network, is provided with: a transmission delay managing unit which manages a transmission delay time with each of the optical network units; an uplink delay time managing unit which manages uplink data permissible delay time of each of the optical network units; an uplink transmission time identifying unit which acquires an uplink transmission start time and data amount of each of the optical network units according to transmission allocation information from the outside; and a band control unit which generates permission information of uplink transmission, the permission information being composed of a time and a time length for uplink transmission to each of the optical network units, wherein the band control unit determines the permission information of uplink transmission to each of the optical network units on the basis of the transmission delay time of each of the optical network units, the uplink transmission start time and data amount of each of the optical network units, and the uplink data permissible delay time of each of the optical network units.
