Abstract:
A brake system (2) for motor vehicles, comprising hydraulically actuable wheel brakes (30, 34, 36, 38); an actuation device which is actuable by means of a brake pedal (6) and which comprises a master brake cylinder (10) with at least one pressure chamber (80, 86); a pressure medium reservoir (20); at least one sensor (140) for detecting a driver braking demand; two electronically actuable electrohydraulic actuators (190, 196) which are formed in each case by a cylinder-piston arrangement with a hydraulic pressure chamber (198, 220), wherein a decrease in size of the pressure chamber (198, 220) effected by the displacement of the pressure piston (200, 226) effects a discharge volume flow and an increase in size of the pressure chamber (198, 220) by displacement of the pressure piston (200, 226) effects an intake volume flow; and check valves (260, 268) which are assigned to the actuators (190, 196) and which permit a hydraulic intake volume flow from the pressure medium reservoir (20) to the respective pressure chamber (198, 220) and prevent a discharge volume flow from the respective pressure chamber (198, 220) to the pressure medium reservoir (20); wherein the two electronically actuable actuators (190, 196) are assigned in each case one discharge hydraulic port (270, 278) to which there is connected in each case one discharge volume flow check valve (270, 284) which permits a discharge volume flow out of the pressure chamber (198, 220) of the actuator (190, 196) and prevents an intake volume flow through said discharge hydraulic port (270, 278), wherein those ports of the discharge volume flow check valves which are averted from the two actuators (198, 220) are jointly connected to a pressure provision line (274).
