An oil composition comprising a first component having pendant groups, a second component having two or more terminal carbon chains, and optionally a third component, where a single molecule of the second component can form shearable stable structure with two molecules of the first component via van der Waals force between pendant groups and the terminal carbon chains. Shear stability of the oil can be improved if the total concentration of the heavy fraction of the shearable stable structure is controlled at a low concentration.

L’invention concerne une composition d'huile qui comprend un premier composant ayant des groupes latéraux, un deuxième composant ayant au moins deux chaînes de carbone terminales, et éventuellement un troisième composant ; une molécule unique du deuxième composant pouvant former une structure stable pouvant être cisaillée avec deux molécules du premier composant par l'intermédiaire d'une force de van der Waals entre les groupes latéraux et les chaînes de carbone terminales. La stabilité au cisaillement de l'huile peut être améliorée si la concentration totale de la fraction lourde de la structure stable pouvant être cisaillée est régulée à une faible concentration.
