An electrochemical device that includes an electrode assembly and an outer container. Electrode terminals 7, 8 extend to the outside from the inside of the outer container. The outer container is formed from a film 6 that covers the electrode assembly and that overlaps and is joined to itself outside a peripheral edge part of the electrode assembly. The overlapping and joined portion of the film 6 includes: first sealed parts S1 at which the film is overlapping and joined so as to sandwich the electrode terminals 7, 8; and a second sealed part S2 at which the film is directly overlapping and joined without the interposition of the electrode terminals 7, 8. When the thickness of the film 6 where it overlaps a flat part of the electrode assembly is 1, the thickness thereof where it contacts a corner part of the electrode assembly is 0.85-0.95, the thickness of the first sealed parts S1 is 0.65-0.85, and the thickness of the second sealed part S2 is 0.55-0.75, the first sealed part S1 being thicker than the second sealed part S2.

L'invention concerne un dispositif électrochimique comprenant un assemblage d'électrodes et un récipient externe. Les bornes d'électrodes 7, 8 s'étendent vers l'extérieur à partir de l'intérieur du récipient externe. Le récipient externe est formé à partir d'un film 6 qui recouvre l'assemblage d'électrodes et qui chevauche et est joint à lui-même à l'extérieur d'une partie de bord périphérique de l'assemblage d'électrodes. La portion de chevauchement et de jonction du film 6 comprend : des premières parties étanches S1, au niveau desquelles le film se chevauche et se raccorde de manière à prendre en sandwich les bornes d'électrode 7, 8; et une seconde partie étanche S2 au niveau de laquelle le film se superpose directement et joint sans interposition des bornes d'électrodes 7, 8. Lorsque l'épaisseur du film 6 où elle chevauche une partie plate de l'assemblage d'électrodes est 1, l'épaisseur de celui-ci où elle entre en contact avec une partie de coin de l'assemblage d'électrodes est de 0,85 à 0,95, l'épaisseur des premières parties étanches S1 est de 0,65 à 0,85, et l'épaisseur de la seconde partie étanche S2 est de 0,55 à 0,75, la première partie étanche S1 étant plus épaisse que la seconde partie étanche S2.
