Abstract:
This twin-shaft gas turbine facility is provided with: a twin-shaft gas turbine (10); an induction motor (22) coupled to a compressor (11) of the twin-shaft gas turbine (10); a secondary battery (23); a first frequency converter (24) which controls an exchange of electric power between an external system (1) and the induction motor (22); and a second frequency converter (25) which controls charging and discharging of electric power between the secondary battery (23) and the external system (1). A first control unit (55) of a control device (50) causes the first frequency converter (24) to exchange electricity between the induction motor (22) and the external system (1) if a demanded rate of change of output is larger than a maximum rate of change of output. A second control unit (56) causes the secondary battery (23) to be charged or discharged by the second frequency converter (25) if the amount of power being exchanged by the induction motor (22) is a maximum allowable power.
