Abstract:
Provided are: a photosensitive body for electrophotography, which enables the achievement of a stable print density even in a low temperature environment by suppressing decrease in the print density caused by potential variation of a photosensitive body in a low temperature environment; a method for producing this photosensitive body for electrophotography; and an electrophotographic apparatus. A photosensitive body for electrophotography, which comprises a conductive base 1 and a photosensitive layer 3 that is provided on the conductive base. The photosensitive layer 3 contains, as a charge generating material, a substance that is selected from the group consisting of titanyl phthalocyanine, a metal-free phthalocyanine, chlorogallium phthalocyanine and hydroxygallium phthalocyanine, while containing, as an electron transport material, a naphthalene tetracarboxylic acid diimide compound represented by general formula (1). (In the formula, each of R1 and R2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, an alkylene group, an alkoxy group, an alkyl ester group, an optionally substituted phenyl group, an optionally substituted naphthyl group or a halogen element; and R1 and R2 may be the same as or different from each other.)
