The invention relates to a system for the recovery of heat in thermal processes by means of the sequential and alternating operation of a set of packed beds with non-absorbent materials (or materials in which absorption is not a dominant effect). The system can be used in a number of applications (drying, desalination, absorption cooling, generating mechanical energy...), which are different to one another but share the same principle: the heat that is applied or generated in a device (1) (which can also be a packed bed) is captured and recovered by packed beds which sequentially swap roles; while a bed (2) captures the residual heat of the first device (1), the second (3) preheats the fluid entering the first device (or another process) using the previously captured residual heat, and, when the capturing bed (2) reaches the determined maximum level, it swaps roles with the preheating bed (3) using connected valves, and vice versa.

Es un sistema de recuperación de calor en procesos térmicos mediante la actuación secuencial y alternativa de un conjunto de lechos empaquetados con materiales no adsorbentes (o en los que la adsorción no representa un efecto dominante). Se puede utilizar en numerosas aplicaciones(secado, desalación, frío por absorción, generación de energía mecánica,..), diferentes entre sí pero compartiendo el mismo principio: el calor aplicado o generado en un dispositivo(1), (que pude ser también un lecho empaquetado) es captado y recuperado por lechos empaquetados que intercambian secuencialmente sus papeles: mientras un lecho(2)capta el calor residual del primer dispositivo(1), el segundo (3) precalienta el fluido que entrega al primer dispositivo(o a otro proceso) utilizando calor residual que había captado anteriormente; y cuando el lecho captador(2)alcanza el nivel máximo fijado, utilizando válvulasa copladas, intercambia su papel con el lecho precalentador (3), y viceversa.

L’invention concerne un système de récupération de chaleur dans des processus thermiques par le biais de l'actionnement séquentiel et alterné d’un ensemble de lits empaquetés avec des matériaux adsorbants (ou dans lesquels l’adsorption ne représente pas un effet dominant). Ledit système peut être utilisé dans plusieurs applications (de séchage, de dessalage, de froid par absorption, de génération d’énergie mécanique...), différentes entre elles mais partageant le même principe: la chaleur appliquée ou générée dans un dispositif (1), (qui peut également être un lit empaqueté) est captée et récupérée par des lits empaquetés qui échangent séquentiellement leurs rôles: tandis qu’un lit (2) capte la chaleur résiduelle du premier dispositif (1), le second (3) préchauffe le fluide qui est acheminé au premier dispositif (ou à un autre processus) utilisant la chaleur résiduelle qu’il a été captée antérieurement; et lorsque le lit capteur (2) atteint le niveau maximal fixé, en utilisant des soupapes accouplées, il échange son rôle avec le lit de préchauffage (3) et vice versa.
