Abstract
(EN) A method for providing a brain computer interface that includes detecting a neural signal of a user in response to a calibration session having a time-locked component and a spontaneous component; generating a user-specific calibration model based on the neural signal; prompting the user to undergo a verification session, the verification session having a time-locked component and a spontaneous component; detecting a neural signal contemporaneously with delivery of the verification session; generating an output of the user-specific calibration model from the neural signal; based upon a comparison operation between processed outputs, determining an authentication status of the user; and performing an authenticated action.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de fourniture d'une interface cerveau-ordinateur qui comprend la détection d'un signal neuronal d'un utilisateur en réponse à une session d'étalonnage ayant une composante de verrouillage temporel et une composante spontanée; la génération d'un modèle d'étalonnage spécifique à l'utilisateur sur la base du signal neuronal; l'invitation de l'utilisateur à subir une session de vérification, la session de vérification comportant une composante de verrouillage temporel et une composante spontanée; la détection d'un signal neuronal extemporanément avec l'application de la session de vérification; la génération d'une sortie du modèle d'étalonnage spécifique à l'utilisateur à partir du signal neuronal; sur la base d'une opération de comparaison entre les sorties traitées, la détermination d'un état d'authentification de l'utilisateur; et la conduite d'une action authentifiée.
