Abstract

An example computing device includes a module interface to communicate with a peripheral device. The computing device also includes a hot swapping prediction circuit to detect a physical movement of the computing device and to generate a hot swapping prediction signal based on the detected physical movement. The computing device further includes a processor coupled to the hot swapping circuit. The processor is to, in response to detecting the hot swapping prediction signal from the hot swapping circuit, change a parameter of a peripheral device detection operation to be executed by an operating system of the computing device.

L'invention concerne un exemple de dispositif informatique qui comprend une interface de module pour communiquer avec un dispositif périphérique. Le dispositif informatique comprend également un circuit de prédiction de permutation à chaud destiné à détecter un mouvement physique du dispositif informatique et à générer un signal de prédiction de permutation à chaud sur la base du mouvement physique détecté. Le dispositif informatique comprend en outre un processeur couplé au circuit de permutation à chaud. Le processeur est destiné, en réponse à la détection du signal de prédiction de permutation à chaud provenant du circuit de permutation à chaud, modifier un paramètre d'une opération de détection de dispositif périphérique devant être exécutée par un système d'exploitation du dispositif informatique.
