Abstract:
(EN) There is provided mechanisms for selecting beam direction for a radio communications device. A method is performed by the radio communications device. The method comprises obtaining radio channel estimates of a radio channel on which radio waves have been transmitted between the radio communications device and another radio communications device at an angle of arrival and departure. The method comprises determining a Doppler shift from the radio channel estimates. The method comprises estimating at least one of the angle of arrival and departure of the radio waves based on the Doppler shift. The method comprises selecting a beam direction for a signal to be transmitted between the radio communications device and this another radio communications device over the radio channel according to the estimated angle of arrival or departure.
(FR) L'invention concerne des mécanismes permettant de sélectionner une direction de faisceau pour un dispositif de communication radio. Un procédé est mis en œuvre par le dispositif de communication. Le procédé consiste à obtenir des estimées de canal radio concernant un canal radio sur lequel des ondes radio ont été transmises entre le dispositif de communication radio et un autre dispositif de communication radio en fonction des angles d'arrivée et de départ. Le procédé consiste à déterminer un décalage Doppler à partir des estimées de canal radio. Le procédé consiste à estimer au moins l'un de l'angle d'arrivée et de l'angle de départ des ondes radio sur la base du décalage Doppler. Le procédé consiste à sélectionner une direction de faisceau pour un signal à transmettre entre le dispositif de communication radio et ledit autre dispositif de communication radio sur le canal radio en fonction de l'angle d'arrivée ou de l'angle de départ estimé.
