The client key-based forgery detection method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step in which, when a request for confirming a specific authenticity certification code is received for the first time from a first client, an authentication server creates and stores a first client key and issues same to the first client (S500); a step in which, when receiving a request for confirming an authenticity certification code from a specific client, the authentication server receives, from the specific client, the authenticity certification code and a client key which is stored in the client, and compares same with an authenticity certification code and the first client key matched with the authenticity certification code which are stored in the authentication server (S600); and a step of informing that a product is a pre-certified authentic product if the authenticity certification codes match, but the client key stored in a terminal does not match the client key stored in the server (S700). The present invention enables a user to identify a potential forgery on the basis of whether or not an authenticity certification code is pre-certified, even when the same authenticity certification code as that of an authentic product has been copied and attached to the forgery.
