(EN)The present invention relates to a drive screw and a tightening tool for a drive screw. The drive screw comprises: a cruciform fitting portion (111) formed on a bottom surface thereof; and a cruciform tool insertion groove (104) formed from the surface of a head portion (103) to four side edge portions (105) so as to assemble a cap (110) having an engaging protrusion (112) at one side of the fitting portion (111); and a latching groove (106) of a latching protrusion (112) formed on the inner surface of one side of the tool insertion groove (104). The tightening tool for a drive screw comprises: a slotted first insertion portion (210) which is inserted straight into the cruciform tool insertion groove (104) of the head portion (103) and is formed at the lower end of a rod (201) of a tightening tool body (200) used for a screwdriver, a socket wrench or a power-driven tool; and a second insertion portion (220) which is fitted into the remaining portion of the tool insertion groove (104) at the center of the first insertion portion (210) and is formed in a cross shape so as to be perpendicular to the first insertion portion (210). When the tightening tool is inserted and rotated into the head portion (103) of the drive screw, the rotation torque of the tightening tool is uniformly distributed to the four edge portions of the tool insertion groove (104) formed on the head portion (103) of the drive screw through the cruciform first insertion portion (210) and the second insertion portion (220), the tool insertion groove (104) of the head portion (103) is not easily worn so that the lifespan of the drive screw is prolonged and workability is good.
