Abstract:
A two-pack type water-based anticorrosive coating composition which comprises a first component (I), which comprises a water-thinnable polyamine resin (A) and a rust-preventive pigment ingredient (B), and a second component (II), which comprises a water-thinnable epoxidized resin (C), wherein the water-thinnable polyamine resin (A) is a resin produced from an epoxy resin (a1) and a polyamine compound (a2) as starting materials and having a total amine value in the range of 20-120 mg-KOH/g, the rust-preventive pigment ingredient (B) includes, as some of the ingredient, a rust-preventing pigment (b) capable of releasing ions of at least one kind selected from among magnesium ions, aluminum ions, calcium ions, zinc ions, silicate ions, phosphate ions, vanadate ions, and molybdate ions, the rust-preventive pigment ingredient (B) is contained in an amount of 1-100 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the water-thinnable polyamine resin (A), and the water-thinnable epoxidized resin (C) has a lower weight-average molecular weight than the water-thinnable polyamine resin (A).
