Abstract:
(EN) To provide a technique whereby flicker and other display defects can be suppressed without restricting the arrangement of data lines in a liquid crystal display device having a non-rectangular display region. The liquid crystal display device is provided with an active matrix substrate 10, an opposing substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The active matrix substrate 10 is provided with a plurality of gate lines 11 and a plurality of data lines 12. Pixel electrodes 14 are disposed in pixels defined by the gate lines 11 and the data lines 12, and a shared electrode 15 is provided in a display region R. A capacitance formation part C for forming a capacitance between the shared electrode and a portion of the gate lines 11 from among the plurality of gate lines 11 is provided on an outside of the display region R. The portion of the gate lines 11 have a smaller length than that of a largest gate line and intersect with a portion of the data lines 12 from among the plurality of data lines 12. At least one capacitance formation part C is provided for one gate line 11 of the portion of the gate lines 11.
(FR) Pour obtenir une technique par laquelle le scintillement et d'autres défauts d'affichage peuvent être supprimés sans limiter l'agencement de lignes de données dans un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides ayant une région d'affichage non rectangulaire. Le dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides est pourvu d'un substrat de matrice active, d'un substrat opposé et d'une couche de cristaux liquides. Le substrat de matrice active est pourvu d'une pluralité de lignes de grille et d'une pluralité de lignes de données. Des électrodes de pixels sont disposées en pixels définis par les lignes de grille et les lignes de données, et une électrode partagée 15 est disposée dans une région d'affichage R une partie de formation de capacité C pour former une capacité entre l'électrode partagée et une partie des lignes de grille 11 parmi la pluralité de lignes de grille sont disposées à l'extérieur de la région d'affichage, la partie des lignes de grille ayant une longueur inférieure à celle d'une ligne de grille la plus grande et croisant une partie des lignes de données parmi la pluralité de lignes de données. Au moins une partie C de formation de capacité est prévue pour une ligne de grille 11 de la partie des lignes de grille 11.
(JA) 非矩形形状の表示領域を有する液晶表示装置において、データ線の配置を制限することなく、フリッカ等の表示不良を抑制しうる技術を提供すること。液晶表示装置は、アクティブマトリクス基板10と、対向基板と、液晶層とを備える。アクティブマトリクス基板10は、複数のゲート線11と、複数のデータ線12とを備える。ゲート線11とデータ線12で規定される各画素には画素電極14が配置され、表示領域Rには共通電極15が設けられている。表示領域Rの外側には、複数のゲート線11のうちの一部のゲート線11と共通電極との間で容量を形成する容量形成部Cが設けられている。一部のゲート線11は、長さが最大のゲート線よりも短く、複数のデータ線12のうちの一部のデータ線12と交差する。容量形成部Cは、一部のゲート線11における一のゲート線11に対して少なくとも1つ設けられる。
