Abstract:
A timing control unit (14, 24) outputs an interrupt signal every time a synchronous frame is detected in a communication frame transmitted or received by a communication unit (12, 22). An initiation control unit (13, 23) initiates brake control, every time an interrupt signal is outputted by the timing control unit (14, 24), in accordance with an operation command acquired most recently by a command acquisition unit (11, 21). The initiation control unit (13, 23) performs brake control by outputting a control command that indicates the pressure level of a brake cylinder disposed in a mechanical brake (3, 4). A valve control unit (15, 25) controls an electromagnetic valve disposed in an air control unit (16, 26) in accordance with the control command. The mechanical brake (3, 4) is activated by air outputted from the air control unit (16, 26) being controlled by the valve control unit (15, 25), thus control is performed on brakes of a rail vehicle.
