Abstract
(EN)
A method of determining a location of an optical fibre positioned at least partially inside a scattering medium, the method comprises transmitting pulsed light into the scattering medium, receiving, by a detector, photons of the pulsed light that have passed through the scattering medium, selecting signals corresponding to some of the received photons, wherein the selecting is based on a time of arrival of the received photons; and determining a location of the optical fibre based on the selected signals.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé de détermination de l'emplacement d'une fibre optique positionnée au moins partiellement à l'intérieur d'un milieu de diffusion, le procédé consistant à transmettre la lumière pulsée dans le milieu de diffusion, à recevoir, par un détecteur, des photons de la lumière pulsée qui ont traversé le milieu de diffusion, à sélectionner des signaux correspondant à certains des photons reçus, la sélection étant basée sur un temps d'arrivée des photons reçus; et à déterminer un emplacement de la fibre optique sur la base des signaux sélectionnés.
