Abstract:
(EN) A bollard assembly includes a bollard (3) and a fixed bollard support (5) that are formed so that the bollard can slide relative to the bollard support on impact by a vehicle, with the bollard remaining in its original orientation during the sliding movement. The bollard assembly also includes an energy absorption mechanism for absorbing energy of the vehicle as the bollard slides relative to the bollard support and thereby contributes to decelerating the vehicle.
(FR) Un ensemble de borne comprend une borne (3) et un support de borne fixe (5) qui sont formés de telle sorte que la borne peut coulisser par rapport au support de borne lors d'un choc par un véhicule, la borne restant dans son orientation d'origine pendant le mouvement de coulissement. L'ensemble de borne comprend également un mécanisme d'absorption d'énergie destiné à absorber l'énergie du véhicule lorsque la borne coulisse par rapport au support de borne, et contribue ainsi à ralentir le véhicule.
