A polymer foam system comprises a polyaldehyde, an inorganic powder, a polycarbamate, a blowing agent and an acid catalyst wherein the polyaldehyde is in an A-side of the polymer foam system and the polycarbamate is in a B-side of the polymer foam system wherein the inorganic powder is selected from a group consisting of Group II oxides and hydroxides, the polyaldehyde has an average functionality of more than one and three or less, the polycarbamate has an average functionality of 3.4 or more and 4.2 or less, the polycarbamate has an average equivalent weight of 200 grams per equivalent or more and 325 grams per equivalent or less, and the average particle size of the inorganic powder in micrometers divided by the ratio of concentration in millimoles of organic powder to acid catalyst is 2.5 or more an 9.3 or less.

L'invention concerne un système de mousse polymère comprenant un polyaldéhyde, une poudre inorganique, un polycarbamate, un agent d'expansion et un catalyseur acide, le polyaldéhyde se trouvant dans un côté A du système de mousse polymère et le polycarbamate se trouvant dans un côté B du système de mousse polymère, la poudre inorganique étant choisie dans un groupe constitué par les oxydes et les hydroxydes du groupe II, le polyaldéhyde présentant une fonctionnalité moyenne de plus de un et de trois ou moins, le polycarbamate présentant une fonctionnalité moyenne de 3,4 ou plus et de 4,2 ou moins, le polycarbamate présentant un poids équivalent moyen de 200 grammes par équivalent ou plus et de 325 grammes par équivalent ou moins et la grosseur moyenne de particule de la poudre inorganique, en micromètres, divisée par le rapport des concentrations, en millimoles, en poudre organique et en catalyseur acide étant de 2,5 ou plus et de 9,3 ou moins.
