Abstract:
(EN) A monitoring device and a method performed by the monitoring device for determining whether an animal is being properly fed are provided. The method (100) comprises obtaining (110) a measured value of at least one parameter related to fodder intake of said animal during a time period; and obtaining (120) an estimation of energy needed by said animal during the time period. The method (100) further comprises determining (140) an animal-specific factor based on the measured value of the at least one parameter and the energy needed by said animal.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de surveillance et un procédé conduit par le dispositif de surveillance pour déterminer si un animal est correctement alimenté. Le procédé (100) comprend l'obtention (110) d'une valeur mesurée d'au moins un paramètre lié à la prise de fourrage dudit animal pendant une période; et l'obtention (120) d'une estimation de l'énergie requise par ledit animal pendant la période. Le procédé (100) comprend en outre la détermination (140) d'un facteur spécifique à l'animal sur la base de la valeur mesurée de l'au moins un paramètre et l'énergie requise par ledit animal.
