Title: DEVICES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A REINFORCED POLYMER PIPE
Abstract:
The invention relates to technology for manufacturing reinforced polymer pipes. A device and method for forming circumferential reinforcement of a seamless hollow article involve the spiral winding of a circumferential reinforcing member, prior to which said circumferential reinforcing member is fed onto an idler pulley which is designed such as to allow the circumferential reinforcing member to make at least one turn over the surface of the idler pulley coaxially with the turns of the spiral winding. The technical result is that of increasing the quality of finished products, while reducing energy consumption and manufacturing costs, as well as simplifying the equipment used by obviating the need to longitudinally encircle an article with an entire reserve of material for preparing a circumferential shell; significantly reducing the number of stops caused by exhaustion of the consumable material used for circumferential (transverse) reinforcement; improving conditions for the use of strip materials for the circumferential reinforcement of composite pipes, since the proposed kinematics of feeding the consumable material for circumferential reinforcement entail transverse bending only without longitudinal bending of the circumferential reinforcement; reducing polymer consumption through the use of a strip circumferential reinforcement, while maintaining the strength of a composite pipe; and increasing the range of finished products obtained using a single technology.
