Abstract:
Disclosed is a data driver of liquid crystal display, comprising: a digital-to-analog conversion module (510); the digital-to-analog conversion module (510) receives data (DAT) for generating a pixel gray-scale reference voltage from a timing controller (600) of a liquid crystal display, and converts the data (DAT) for generating a pixel gray-scale reference voltage into a pixel gray-scale reference voltage; the digital-to-analog conversion module (510) receives two sets of gamma voltages from a gamma circuit (200) of the liquid crystal display and generates a pixel gray-scale voltage provided for a data line (D1-Dn) of the liquid crystal display according to the pixel gray-scale reference voltage and the two sets of gamma voltages, wherein the values of the two sets of gamma voltages can be independently adjusted. Also disclosed is a liquid crystal display. By providing two sets of gamma voltages that can be independently adjusted, the pixel gray-scale voltage that provides a four-domain sub-pixel and an eight-domain sub-pixel can also be independently adjusted, thereby solving the color shift problem that occurs during LCD display.
