Abstract:
A drive circuit (1) based on a liquid crystal panel (100) and a liquid crystal panel (100). The liquid crystal panel (100) comprises a four colour pixel array (2) ordered according to a matrix, each pixel in the four colour pixel array (2) comprising sub-pixels of two different colours; the drive circuit (1) comprises a source electrode drive chip (11) and a plurality of multiplexing circuits (12), the source electrode drive chip (11) being used for providing a plurality of source electrode drive signals (Isource), each multiplexing circuit (12) being used for receiving a source electrode drive signal (Isource) and for time-division transmission of the source electrode drive signal (Isource) to the plurality of sub-pixel arrays corresponding to the source electrode drive signal (Isource) in the four colour pixel array (2). The present solution greatly reduces the amount of source electrode drive signals (Isource), and thus greatly reduces the size of the source electrode drive chip (11), saving source electrode drive chip (11) costs.
