Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods relating to placement of an ultrasound transducer for a procedure.In a non-limiting embodiment, a 3D environment including images of a body region of a patient, as well as images including a first virtual representation of an ablation needle at a first location and a second virtual representation of an ultrasound transducer at a second location is rendered on a display device. A determination may be made as to whether the first and second virtual representations collide at a first collision point. If so, at least one parameter associated with an orientation and/or position of the second virtual representation may be adjusted. A determination may then be made as to whether or not the first and second virtual representations still collide and, in response to determining that there is no collision, position data indicating the location of the second virtual representation after the adjustment, is stored.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés concernant le positionnement d'un transducteur à ultrasons pour une intervention. Dans un mode de réalisation non limitatif, un environnement en trois dimensions (3D) comprenant des images d'une région de corps d'un patient, ainsi que des images comprenant une première représentation virtuelle d'une aiguille d'ablation à un premier emplacement et une seconde représentation virtuelle d'un transducteur à ultrasons à un second emplacement, est restitué sur un dispositif d'affichage. On peut déterminer si les première et seconde représentations virtuelles entrent ou non en collision au niveau d'un premier point de collision. Si tel est le cas, au moins un paramètre associé à une orientation et/ou à une position de la seconde représentation virtuelle peut être ajusté. On peut ensuite déterminer si les première et seconde représentations virtuelles entrent ou non encore en collision et, en réponse à la détermination du fait qu'il n'y a pas de collision, des données de position indiquant l'emplacement de la seconde représentation virtuelle après le réglage sont stockées.
