Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to the fields of ceramics and metallurgy and refers to a zirconium oxide ceramic and a cellular material made of same, and how they can be used, for example, as a casting filter for steel mould casting. The object of the invention is to provide a zirconium oxide ceramic and a cellular material made of same, having a high level of strength and creep resistance at high temperatures, in particular during use in steel casting. The object is achieved by a zirconium oxide ceramic, consisting of >95 wt.% zirconium oxide and mullite and <5 wt.% additives, wherein of the >95 wt.% zirconium oxide and mullite at least 55-90 wt.% is zirconium oxide, and the zirconium oxide is present in the structure with at least one biomodal particle size distribution, the peak values of which relating to the particle size are spaced apart at least by a factor of 10, and at least components of the used starting materials are present as additives in their unchanged form or as reaction products.
(FR) L'invention concerne les domaines de la céramique et de la métallurgie et concerne une céramique à base d'oxyde de zirconium ainsi qu'un matériau cellulaire fabriqué à partir de celle-ci qui peuvent être utilisés par exemple comme filtre de coulée pour le moulage de l'acier. L'invention vise à fournir une céramique à base d'oxyde de zirconium et un matériau cellulaire fabriqué à partir de celle-ci, qui présentent une grande solidité et une grande résistance au fluage à haute température, à utiliser notamment en fonderie de l'acier. Cet objet est résolu par une céramique à base d'oxyde de zirconium constituée de > 95 % en poids d'oxyde de zirconium et de mullite et de < 5 % en poids d'additifs, parmi > 95 % en poids d'oxyde de zirconium et de mullite, au moins 55 à 90 % en poids représentant de l'oxyde de zirconium et l'oxyde de zirconium étant présent dans la structure selon au moins une distribution granulométrique bimodale dont les valeurs maximales par rapport à la granulométrie divergent d'au moins un facteur 10 et au moins des composants des matériaux de départ utilisés étant présents, en tant qu'additifs, sous forme inchangée ou sous forme de produits réactionnels.
(DE) Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Gebiete der Keramik und Metallurgie und betrifft eine Zirkonoxid-Keramikund einen zellularen Werkstoff daraus, wie sie beispielsweise als Gießfilter für den Stahl-Formgusszum Einsatz kommen können. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht daher darin, eine Zirkonoxid-Keramik und einen zellularer Werkstoff daraus anzugeben, die eine hohe Festigkeitund Kriechbeständigkeitbei hohen Temperaturen, insbesondere beim Einsatz im Stahlguss, aufweisen. Gelöst wird die Aufgabe durch eine Zirkonoxid-Keramik,bestehendaus >95 Gew.-% Zirkonoxid und Mullit und <5 Gew.-% Zusätzen, wobei von den >95 Gew.-% Zirkonoxid und Mullit mindestens 55bis90 Gew.-% Zirkonoxid sind, und das Zirkonoxid im Gefüge mit mindestens einer bimodalen Korngrößenverteilung vorliegt, deren Peak-Werte bezüglich der Korngröße mindestens um den Faktor 10 auseinanderliegen, und als Zusätze mindestens Bestandteile der eingesetzten Ausgangsstoffe in unveränderter Form oder als Reaktionsprodukte vorliegen.
