(EN) A solar panel is described, the solar panel comprising a light transparent panel (10), a photo luminescent layer (20) configured to absorb light of a first wavelength spectrum and emit light at a photo luminescent wavelength into the light transparent panel to propagate in the light transparent panel via total internal reflection, one or more photovoltaic components (50, 60) located at a periphery of the light transparent panel and configured to receive light propagating in the light transparent panel via total internal reflection and convert said light to electrical energy.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un panneau solaire, le panneau solaire comprenant un panneau transparent à la lumière (10), une couche photoluminescente (20) configurée de sorte à absorber de la lumière d'un premier spectre de longueur d'onde et à émettre de la lumière à une longueur d'onde photoluminescente dans le panneau transparent à la lumière de sorte à la propager dans le panneau transparent à la lumière par réflexion interne totale, un ou plusieurs composants photovoltaïques (50, 60) situés à la périphérie du panneau transparent à la lumière et configurés de sorte à recevoir de la lumière se propageant dans le panneau transparent à la lumière par réflexion interne totale et à convertir ladite lumière en énergie électrique.
