(EN)Zeolites having highly dispersed bimetallic clusters, uniformly distributed in size and composition, encapsulated therein are disclosed. Metal encapsulation and alloying is conferred by introducing ligated metal cation precursors into zeolite synthesis gels, which are subsequently crystallized hydrothermally to form zeolites with metal cations occluded in the pores. The ligated cations are anchored to the zeolite framework via siloxane bridges which enforces their uniform dispersion throughout the zeolite crystals. Treatment of the crystallized zeolites in O2 and then H2 forms bimetallic clusters, which remain narrowly distributed in size and composition.
(FR)L'invention concerne des zéolites présentant des agglomérats bimétalliques hautement dispersés, répartis uniformément en taille et en composition, encapsulés dans ces derniers. On obtient l'encapsulation et l'alliage de métaux en introduisant des précurseurs de cations métalliques ligaturés dans des gels de synthèse de zéolite, qui sont ensuite cristallisés hydrothermiquement pour former des zéolites présentant des cations métalliques occlus dans les pores. Les cations ligaturés sont ancrés à la structure de zéolite par l'intermédiaire de ponts siloxane qui imposent leur dispersion uniforme dans tous les cristaux de zéolite. Le traitement des zéolites cristallisés en O2, puis en H2, forme des agglomérats bimétalliques, qui restent étroitement répartis en taille et en composition.
