A computing system includes one or more processors and a system memory that stores computer executable instructions that can be executed by the processors. The system accesses from one or more memory requests a unique identifier. The unique identifier identifies a system entity that requests an allocation of memory resources. The system maps the unique identifier to a specific memory resource allocation. This specific memory resource allocation is attributable to the system entity. The specific memory resource allocation is associated with one or more memory policies that specify in what manner the specific memory resource allocation is to be allocated to the system entity. The system causes the allocation of the specific memory resource allocation to the system entity based on the one or more memory policies.

L'invention concerne un système informatique comprenant un ou plusieurs processeurs et une mémoire de système qui mémorise des instructions exécutables par ordinateur pouvant être exécutées par les processeurs. Le système accède à partir d'une ou plusieurs demandes de mémoire à un identifiant unique. L'identifiant unique identifie une entité de système qui demande une attribution de ressources de mémoire. Le système met en correspondance l'identifiant unique avec une attribution de ressource de mémoire spécifique. Ladite attribution de ressources de mémoire spécifique est attribuable à l'entité système. L'attribution de ressource de mémoire spécifique est associée à une ou plusieurs politiques de mémoire qui spécifient de quelle manière l'attribution de ressource de mémoire spécifique doit être attribuée à l'entité de système. Le système provoque l'attribution de l'attribution de ressource de mémoire spécifique à l'entité de système conformément auxdites politiques de mémoire.
