A process for generating an access credential by a communication device may include determining whether a communication device successfully executed a predetermined shutdown sequence when the communication device last transitioned to an inactive state, determining whether the communication device has synchronized with an authorization network subsequent to transitioning back to an active state, and generating the access credential including a timestamp. The access credential may indicate whether the access credential has reliable timestamp information. The access credential can be provided to an access device associated with an authorization network to authenticate the communication device.

Selon l'invention, un procédé de génération d'un justificatif d'identité d'accès par un dispositif de communication peut consister à déterminer si, la dernière fois qu'un dispositif de communication a fait une transition vers un état inactif, le dispositif de communication a exécuté avec succès une séquence d'arrêt prédéterminée ; à déterminer si le dispositif de communication a synchronisé avec un réseau d'autorisation après la transition vers un état actif ; et à produire le justificatif d'identité d'accès comprenant un horodatage. Le justificatif d'identité d'accès peut indiquer si le justificatif d'identité d'accès a des informations d'horodatage fiables. Le justificatif d'identité peut être fourni à un dispositif d'accès associé à un réseau d'autorisation afin d'authentifier le dispositif de communication.
