Abstract:
Provided is a solid-state laser device that makes it possible to easily replace an excitation light source and that can be made smaller than conventional solid-state laser devices. A solid-state laser device (1): that is formed by providing an oscillator, a laser rod (13), and optical members (15-19) on a common base (51) inside a case (50) of which the base (51) is one part; and that comprises a holding part (31) that holds a rod-shaped excitation light source (20), which extends parallel to the laser rod (13), parallel to the laser rod (13) on the opposite side of the laser rod (13) from the base (51). The oscillator comprises an output mirror (11) and a rear mirror (12). The optical members (15-19), which include a Q switch, are arranged between the laser rod (13) and the rear mirror (12). With respect to the base (51), an upper end position (11e) of the output mirror (11) is positioned lower than a lower end position of the excitation light source (20) as held by the holding part (31). The holding part (31) holds the excitation light source (20) such that the latter can be inserted/removed in the long direction thereof from the output mirror (11) side.
