An image signal processing device according to the present invention is provided with: a mode setting unit for setting a first and a second mode; a signal processing unit which executes tone compression processing on a video signal; a division unit which divides the video signal into a base component and a detail component; a compression processing unit which uses the same parameters as those used in the tone compression processing executed by the signal processing unit, to execute tone compression processing on the base component; a synthesis unit which generates a synthesized image signal on the basis of the detail component and the base component; and a control unit which causes signal processing of the video signal to be executed by the signal processing unit when set in the first mode, and causes the signal processing of the video signal to be executed by the division unit, the compression processing unit, and the synthesis unit, when set in the second mode.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de traitement de signal d'image comportant : une unité de réglage de mode pour régler un premier et un second mode ; une unité de traitement de signal qui exécute un traitement de compression de tonalité sur un signal vidéo ; une unité de division qui divise le signal vidéo en une composante de base et une composante de détail ; une unité de traitement de compression qui utilise les mêmes paramètres que ceux utilisés dans le traitement de compression de tonalité exécuté par l'unité de traitement de signal, pour exécuter un traitement de compression de tonalité sur la composante de base ; une unité de synthèse qui génère un signal d'image synthétisé sur la base de la composante de détail et de la composante de base ; et une unité de commande qui provoque le traitement de signal du signal vidéo devant être exécuté par l'unité de traitement de signal lorsqu'il est réglé sur le premier mode, et amène le traitement de signal du signal vidéo à être exécuté par l'unité de division, l'unité de traitement de compression et l'unité de synthèse, lorsqu'il est réglé sur le second mode.

本発明にかかる画像信号処理装置は、第1および第2のモードを設定するモード設定部と、映像信号に対して、階調圧縮処理を施す信号処理部と、映像信号を、ベース成分およびディテール成分に分割する分割部と、ベース成分に対して、信号処理部が行う階調圧縮処理に用いられるパラメータと同じパラメータを用いて階調圧縮処理を施す圧縮処理部と、ディテール成分およびベース成分をもとに合成画像信号を生成する合成部と、第1のモードに設定されている場合、信号処理部により映像信号の信号処理を実行させ、第2のモードに設定されている場合、分割部、圧縮処理部および合成部により映像信号の信号処理を実行させる制御部とを備えた。
