Abstract:
The invention relates to a flow cytometer assembly comprising a detector assembly (1000) having a flowmeter cell, a mixer (210), a first pump (310), a second pump (320), a third pump (330) and a fourth pump (340), an input connection (110), a dye reservoir (410, 420), and a surrounding fluid reservoir (430), wherein the first pump (310) is connected to the input connection (110) on the input side for the intake of sample fluid, wherein the second pump (320) is connected to the dye reservoir (410, 420) on the input side for the intake of dye, wherein the first pump (310) and the second pump (320) are connected to the mixer (210) on the output side in order to pump sample fluid and dye into the mixer (210), and the mixer (210) is designed to mix the sample fluid and the dye to form a mixture, wherein the third pump (330) is connected to the mixer (210) on the input side for the intake of the mixture, wherein the fourth pump (340) is connected to the surrounding fluid reservoir (430) on the input side for the intake of surrounding fluid, wherein the third pump (330) is connected to the flowmeter cell on the output side in order to generate a sample stream through the flowmeter cell from the mixture, and wherein the fourth pump (340) is connected to the flowmeter cell on the output side in order to generate a surrounding stream through the flowmeter cell from the surrounding fluid, which surrounds the sample stream.
