(EN)A method of testing a fuel injection system or components thereof, the testing being implemented by running a high pressure fuel pump to provide fluid under pressure to said fuel injection system or components, where the pump flow is controlled via an Inlet Metering Valve associated therewith,, including the step of : a) controlling the IMV current or voltage, dependent on the power to the fuel pump.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé de test de système d'injection de carburant ou de ses composants, le test étant mis en œuvre en faisant tourner une pompe à carburant haute pression pour fournir un fluide sous pression audit système d'injection de carburant ou auxdits composants, le débit de la pompe étant commandé par l'intermédiaire d'une valve doseuse d'entrée (IMV) associée à celle-ci; le procédé consistant à : a) réguler le courant ou la tension de l'IMV, en fonction de la puissance fournie à la pompe à carburant.
