Abstract

A modular distribution block for a high-current power system includes: a ground module and one or more phase modules. The ground module includes a grounding clamp configured to electrically and mechanically connect to a DIN rail and to retain the distribution block in place with respect to the DIN rail. The phase module(s) include: a conductive splice block that connects a line current from a power supply to a powered device; and, a first surge protective device (SPD) terminal and a second SPD terminal configured to together receive and electrically connect to an SPD module, such connection forming a surge protection circuit within the distribution block, the first SFD terminal electrically connecting to the bus terminal and the second SPD terminal electrically connecting to the splice block. A rigid bus bar electrically connects: the ground module to the phase module(s).

L'invention concerne un bloc de distribution modulaire pour un système électrique à courant fort comprenant : un module de terre et un ou plusieurs modules de phase. Le module de terre comprend une pince de mise à la terre configurée pour être reliée électriquement et mécaniquement à un rail DIN et pour maintenir le bloc de distribution en place par rapport au rail DIN. Le ou les modules de phase comprennent : un bloc d'épissure conducteur qui relie un courant de ligne depuis une alimentation électrique à un dispositif alimenté électriquement ; et une première borne de dispositif de protection contre les surtensions (SPD) et une deuxième borne de SPD configurées pour, ensemble, recevoir un module SPD et se connecter électriquement à celui-ci, une telle connexion formant un circuit de protection contre les surtensions à l'intérieur du le bloc de distribution, la première borne de SPD étant reliée électriquement à la borne de bus et la deuxième borne de SPD étant reliée électriquement au bloc d'épissure. Une barre-bus rigide relie électriquement le module de terre au(x) module(s) de phase.
