Abstract:
(EN) Fiber optic sensors are described for detecting the operational position of a downhole moveable device. In one example, an electric or magnetic field is emitted into the wellbore and interacts with the moveable assembly, thereby producing a secondary electric or magnetic field. The secondary field is detected by a fiber optic sensor which produces a corresponding response signal. The response signal is then processed in a variety of ways to determine the operational position of the moveable device. In another example, the operational position is determined using fiber optic temperature or acoustic sensors. A temperature or acoustic vibration reading is acquired before and after actuation of the moveable device. The two readings are then compared to determine the operation position of the moveable device.
(FR) L'invention concerne des capteurs à fibre optique servant à détecter la position opérationnelle d'un dispositif mobile de fond de trou. Dans un exemple, un champ électrique ou magnétique est émis dans le puits de forage et interagit avec l'ensemble mobile, ce qui produit un champ électrique ou magnétique secondaire. Le champ secondaire est détecté par un capteur à fibre optique qui produit un signal de réponse correspondant. Le signal de réponse est ensuite traité de diverses façons pour déterminer la position opérationnelle du dispositif mobile. Dans un autre exemple, la position opérationnelle est déterminée au moyen de capteurs thermiques ou acoustiques à fibre optique. Un relevé de vibrations thermiques ou acoustiques est acquis avant et après l'actionnement du dispositif mobile. Les deux relevés sont ensuite comparés pour déterminer la position de fonctionnement du dispositif mobile.
