Title: ELECTRICITY GENERATION APPARATUS USING VEHICLE LOAD
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electricity generation apparatus using a vehicle load, the apparatus being capable of producing electric energy by using the load of a vehicle traveling on a road, and comprising: an upper structure and a lower structure, which are separable and provided on the path of the vehicle; a power generation means provided at the upper structure, and generating rotational power by converting, into a rotational movement, a vertical movement caused by the vehicle load; a power transmission means provided at the lower structure, and transmitting, to an electricity generation means, the rotational power generated by the power generation mean; and the electricity generation means for producing electricity by the rotational power transmitted from the power transmission means, wherein the power generation means provided at the upper structure so as to generate the rotational power by converting, into the rotational movement, the vertical movement caused by the vehicle load comprises: a plurality of upper frames; driving shafts provided to the upper frames, respectively, so as to be rotatable by a shaft holder; and knobs coupled to the driving shafts so as to enable the driving shafts to rotate in only one direction by means of ratchets, moving downward because of the vehicle load, and returning to an idle state through a return spring. In addition, the power transmission means provided at the lower structure so as to transmit, to the electricity generation means, the rotational power generated by the power generation means comprises: a spur gear provided at one end of the driving shaft so as to transmit the rotational power of the driving shaft through a timing belt; and a one-way clutch for controlling the rotational power of the spur gear, which is transmitted by the timing belt, so as to enable a gear shaft to rotate in only one direction. Therefore, the present invention uses the load of the vehicle traveling on the road so as to enable electricity to be autonomously produced and used, thereby providing an effect of enabling energy to be recycled in an eco-friendly manner without causing pollution.
