Title: ARC-PREVENTING FAST-BREAKING SURGE PROTECTION APPARATUS
Abstract:
An arc-preventing fast-breaking surge protection apparatus, comprising an arc-preventing assembly formed by an elastic component (3) and an arc-preventing ejector (4), a voltage-sensitive assembly, a response switch assembly, a thermosensitive element, an inner housing (1) and an outer cover (2). The voltage-sensitive assembly and the response switch assembly are in tight thermal coupling. When factors such as an instantaneous surge overvoltage on a line cause the voltage-sensitive assembly to heat continuously and increase in temperature due to a fault short-circuit current, the response switch assembly enables the arc-preventing assembly to move and eject and separate due to the thermal coupling response of a thermosensitive element (30); and meanwhile, a switch assembly is concealed by the arc-preventing assembly so as to prevent a short circuit overload caused by the electric breakdown of an arc generated upon the ejection and separation of the switch, thereby effectively preventing potential fire and explosion hazards, and preventing secondary damage to an electronic device.
