The invention provides a positive electrode for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary batteries that has a novel overcharge protection function. This positive electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery positive electrode comprising a positive-electrode active material layer, the positive electrode being characterized in that: the positive-electrode active material layer includes a plurality of positive-electrode active material particles; the positive electrode includes at least one of an electroconductive foundation layer provided below the positive-electrode active material layer, an electroconductive film provided on the surface of the positive-electrode active material particles, and an electroconductive aid arranged between the plurality of positive-electrode active material particles; and at least one of the electroconductive foundation layer, the electroconductive film, and the electroconductive aid includes an electroconductive material that electrochemically decomposes or reacts and is increased in resistance in an overcharged state.

L’invention fournit une électrode positive pour batterie secondaire à électrolyte non aqueux qui possède une nouvelle fonction de protection contre la surcharge. L’électrode positive pour batterie secondaire à électrolyte non aqueux de l’invention est équipée d’une couche de matière active d’électrode positive. Ladite couche de matière active d’électrode positive contient une pluralité de particules de matière active d’électrode positive. Ladite électrode positive contient au moins un élément parmi les suivants : une sous-couche conductrice agencée en-dessous de ladite couche de matière active d’électrode positive ; un film de revêtement conducteur agencé à la surface desdites particules de matière active d’électrode positive ; et un agent favorisant la conduction disposé entre les particules de matière active d’électrode positive. La sous-couche conductrice, le film de revêtement conducteur et/ou l’agent favorisant la conduction est caractéristique en ce qu’il contient une matière conductrice se dégradant ou réagissant de manière électrochimique et dont la résistance augmente, dans des conditions de surcharge.
